Your ski chalet par excellence, the family-run
Merab Hotel combines rustic warmth with quality elegance. The exterior tells it
all – a successful blend of familiar Swiss Alpine and traditional Lebanese
stone architecture. Inside, the lobby’s emphasis on wood and comfortable
could-be-living-room furniture help you relax like you’re right at home,
especially when the fireplace is aglow. Outside and in, expect service far
better than the Merab’s three-star classing.
Most of the rooms are cosy, but none lacking in
the mod coms. Especially convenient are the hotel’s attached mini-mart and the
intimate pub/restaurant called Chez Mansour. Try the latter’s second level for
a really snug nibble. Of course, gourmets can head around the corner to the
InterContinental Mzaar or other nearby village options, all easy to reach given
the Merab’s central location.
Tip: Merab Hotel has one 2-bedroom Suite that sleeps up to 4 persons and is ideal for families. You can only find it available if you book early, really early!
