Wine Tasting Trips Lebanon is also known as a wintage country and has been producing wine for more than a thousand years. Since then, wine-making tradition was kept and improved, and three major vineyards produce the bulk of Lebanese wine exports. Two of them are located in the Bekaa Valley: Kefraya and Ksara and Chateau Musar is located in Ghazir (Mount Lebanon). In addition to world-class wines, Chateau Musar also produce arak, a grape-based Lebanese traditional drink, that often accompanies mezzes.
All three vineyards are open to visitors and tasting is part of the itinerary. We will soon be publishing a 5 days wine tasting trip, accompanied by gourmet stops and some sightseeing. |
